Back in 2005, a 22-year-old named Kellen Roberts in Seattle, Washington passed way. His mother, Nancy, and his sister, Erin, decided to donate his organs to try to save some lives. In Minneapolis, a 17-year-old named Connor Rabinowitz was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder that caused his organs to swell and fail. He needed a heart transplant, or he'd DIE.
He was matched up with Kellen's heart, and went to Seattle for the transplant. It was a success. And while Connor was at the hospital, he met Kellen's family . . . specifically Kellen's sister, Erin. Connor and Erin kept in touch. They became closer . . . and in 2011, they officially became a COUPLE. Connor graduated college in 2012 and moved to Seattle. Now he and Erin say they just might get engaged soon. --So, assuming that happens, this guy will be married to the sister of his heart donor. That just might be a first.
